MFTE

At Stadium, we understand the importance of providing affordable housing options and are proud to participate in the City of Tacomas Multifamily Property Tax Exemption (MFTE) program. This program provides a tax exemption on multifamily buildings in exchange for setting aside a portion of homes as income- and rent-restricted, helping support mixed-income communities as the city continues to grow.

Eligibility is based on the Area Median Income (AMI), as determined by the Office of Housing. To qualify, household income must fall within the programs established limits.

If your household income falls within the allowable range, you may be eligible for an MFTE apartment.

Applicants are required to complete a standard rental application and once submitted, will go through an income qualification process. This includes completing an Annual Household Income Verification Form and providing supporting documentation. Required documents must be submitted within 24 hours of applying to ensure eligibility.
